As the Digital & Social Media Marketing Manager for the U.S. Army’s Central California Recruiting Battalion, it was my job to launch both the new Army logo and branding within our footprint with consists of 48,000+ square miles of California. Plus share the new Army commercials that featured the classic “Be All You Can Be” theme from the 1980s and 1990s.

GOALS

My goal was to;

  • Raise awareness of the new Army logo, branding, and trailer on the battalion’s social media accounts.
STRATEGY

Below are the tactics that were used.

  • Social Media: I changed out all of the battalion’s social media profile photos and cover photos to the new Army logo and branding, while strategically scheduling the new Army “Be All You Can Be” trailer throughout the battalion’s digital footprint.
RESULTS

Below were the final results.

  • Total Reach: 9,650 

Within the first week of the launch, over 9,650 people saw the new logo, branding, and commercial on one of the 70+ social media accounts within the battalion.
